Last Saturday, the 20th. We enjoyed watching Haleigh's polyneisian dance team perform at their grand luau. The food was SO yummy!! The stage could have been bigger... but oh well. (I've learned alot about the polyneisian culture during this experience, too. Who knew people where more "oh well" than me?) This is Haleigh and her BFF McKenna who are both very excited about dance starting again in Jan. and who say they want to do it for the rest of their lives! Although their fathers are NOT looking forward to them "shaking it" as teenagers!! I love it.26 December 2008

Christmas at our house was "The best Christmas ever". That's what they're telling me! Good. Mission accomplished! The big item was ipods this year. So now as I sit here I am being serenaded by off key acapella tunes of joy! Jennifer and Julie are snowed in, in Wyoming. :) I think I'll just through on a sweat shirt and go outside and soak up a little sun!
Update: The girls took 4 wheel drive to Billings and will be in Vegas tonight! Yeah! We miss them!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
It started snowing around 4pm here today and it's the big white fluffy kind! The kids were so excited. The last time it snowed in St. George Haleigh was about 4 months old and Michael and I made a snow man. Michael had a Christmas choir concert tonight @ 6 and we came home and everyone was getting homework done and pretty much getting ready for bed, so I said... "I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna go out and make a snow man!!" I felt like I was 10 again! SO FUN! School is cancelled here tomorrow. Can you believe we're having a SNOW DAY in St. George! The last snowday I had (other than in Laramie) was in 7th grade! Another funny thing... I found my Northwest college ID in my snow coat tonight!! :) It's been in there for 11 years! Our poor palm trees are so loaded with snow, I hope it doesn't hurt them. I'll take a picture in the morning.

I am the 6,015 Taco Johns Fan! (facebook)
Taco Johns is the BEST Mexican fast food! It's only located in Wyoming and a few states to the East, I think maybe as far East as Iowa. Anyway... there are few and far between. I love everything on the menu. I can't go home without stopping in for an Apple Grande! The one in Laramie even has icecream... which is heaven on a churro or an Apple Grande! Ole's with cheese and sour cream anyone? Daniel and I both always get a Meat and Potatoe Buritto as soon as we hit town! Used to be as soon as we hit the WY state border but then the one in Evanston closed!:( I'm hungry now.
