Annual New Years Bowling

This year we had to do our bowling a day early because we have to go to church tomorrow. Mya did AWESOME at this years bowling trip!! And she only wanted Dad to help her!!

This is Mya after getting her split! She was SO excited!

Haleigh gets a STRIKE!

I LOVE this picture of Mya, she's jumping and it looks like she's floating!

Christmas!!

Haleigh and Mya putting sickers on the manger scene that Mya had from nursery while Dad read the Christmas story.

Christmas morning!! We got up a little extra early this year (5am) because we had to be to church... and even early so Michael and Haleigh could play their violins for prelude music.

Santa delivered! A teddy bear for Jaida, "Squishies & Squashies" for Mya, a bike and new shoes for Haleigh, and video games and new shoes for Michael... among other things.

Some December business

The kids at our ward Christmas party. We all left our houses at 6pm and walked with candles to the church to find the stable... and sing carols and eat sloppy Joes. I had drove the car up earlier so when it came time to come home me and Mya and Jaida came home quickly and warmly. :) It was something different and fun, and I was really surprised how many older folks in our ward came out to see what was going on. But next year we can go ahead and go back to something inside. :)

Haleigh had 3 basketball games in Dec. They are 1-2 going into the new year.

Here she is performing at the grand Luau for Siva Pasifika (her dance co.) She also danced in Nov. at the Jubilee and the day after this Luau at the Dickens Festival and later in the month at a private company Christmas party. She and Michael also performed with the Festival Strings on their violins for the Jubliee, Dickens, and for the Rotary Club's Christmas breakfast.

And Julie and I made Dad a Grinch for his office decor...

Busy week

Jaida even had a performance at the Jubliee this year. We got a call for her to be one of 28 babies as "center pieces" for the Chamber luncheon on Thursday. Her friend Elsie got to be there too. She was good and so cute, everyone passing by wanted a picture!! And mom got lunch! :)

Autumn and Haleigh just after their poly performance at the Jubilee

Haleigh and her ginger bread house... that sold for $30!

Everyone with SANTA!! This is a good year... Mya is happy with him now and Jaida has no idea who is holding her! :)

Last week we found out Mya is allergic to penicillin when she had an ear infection. Welcome to the club Mya!

And Michael finished up his football season this week too. They were 0-8, but had a good time and that's what counts, right? :) Notice his team spirit with his thunderbolt shaved in his head!! ;)

Houses for the Jubilee

The other day (not with too much notice) I got a call from a lady asking to donate gingerbread houses for the Jubilee of Trees again. I tried to explain that I have a new baby in the house, but instead of the "maybe this isn't a good year" response that I hoped for... I got congratulated. What can ya do? I'm not very good at saying No to things that I would like to do even if I know it'll be a pain... So I bought a couple of prefabricated halloween haunted houses and turned them into Christmas! TONS easier than messing with ginger bread. And I let Haleigh do one too. What extra milers we are!! ;) Took ALL afternoon, but we got 'em done and we will take them on Wed. and see them on Friday when we go with our activity day girls and again Sat. when Haleigh's poly group dances and AGAIN on Sunday when the kids play their violins.

Turkey Tri & Air Show

Today was the Turkey Tri out at the SHAC. Haleigh and her BFF's raced again and had a ton of fun. Michael and Dad took off early for the airshow in Vegas with the scouts. Us girls spent the morning at antigravity with Taylor and Carter for Taylor's bday, and then headed out to the SHAC after lunch. The race didn't start til 2:00pm, so it was nice and warm! Perfect for racing!
