100 year flood, again...

It's been raining for a week straight. Our grass is green and we have weeds and moss growing out by our mail box. I was just about to get depressed from lack of vitamin D when all of a sudden it started to get exciting yesterday. They call it the 100 year flood around here when it floods like this. However, this is the 2nd time in 5 years that it's happened... so go figure. This is the view yesterday of the Virgin River flooding, looking East from the I-15 bridge going into town from our house: And this is the same view today:
This is the Santa Clara river today looking East where it joins the Virgin. There's a new pillar there for a new exit and bridge they've been working on for months... I bet this sets them back a little. Needless to say, they had the day off.
Here's the Santa Clara looking West from I-15:
This is the Virgin River over in Bloomington, next to the baseball park:
This is the running trail that goes along the river and under Man-O-War bridge in Bloomington.
The trail system in St. George is very popular, but most of the trails follow the river or other washes throughout town. So they are all closed until the flooding is over.

I can't believe it is happening again. Good luck!
