Presidents day fun

After a morning of mom dictating chores (in honor of presidents day... cuz I'm the president of our house) :) I treated the troops to lunch with the Ambassador Jenn and Ju and then to some Fiesta (too much) Fun! We mini golfed and go-carted and then let Mya play for awhile in the soft play area. Then home where Michael and Haleigh went to pick up scout flags with Daniel and I made spaghetti for dinner.

Mya kept putting her ball right by the hole and then knocking it in. So she pretty much had a hole in 1 on every hole.

Mya was excited to be tall enough to ride with mom in the go-cart... although she was NOT impressed that we didn't win *because I kep slowing down to get a picture of Michael and Haleigh.

Hidden Treasure!

During our President's Day cleaning we cleaned out under the couch cushions and in the love seat there's a secret pocket that gathers "stuff". This is the treasure trove we found today!!

A necklace, a bracelet, Haleigh's sock, a phone, Mya's sunglasses, puzzle piece, chip clip, 7 pony tail holders, a comb, a leap pad cartridge, Jaida's teething toy, a GI Joe play sword, a pencil, too many candy wrappers, littlest pet shop bug, fingernail clippers, a magic wand, a pez candy, bouncy ball, a lego, barbie tea cup, and a couple light bright lights!!

Little girl update

Jaida is pulling herself up to stand on everything. She'll probably be moving along things by next month!

Mya's morning ritual of chocolate cereal.

Mya gets a second wind when it's time for everyone else to go to bed, but eventually she passes out.

A play date with Ellsie during her mom's senior recital. We wanted to go, but realistically we knew it wouldn't be a good idea, so we invited Ellsie over instead. It was SO fun to play toys and take a little nap.

Hansen's Rock'n New Year

My friend Amy wanted to have a New Year's party, and I decided with Jaida etc. it would be best to just host it at our house. So the Lindells, Randalls, and Sudweeks all came over (with a quick cameo from the Sevy's) It was really fun. We hooked up 2 Wii's and an X-box in the garage, played some cards, and had a huge nacho bar and other treats. And everyone made it to midnight to bang pots and pans!! :)
