Happy Birthday "Bug"!

Today Haleigh turns 8! She started off the morning with French Toast and a movie and then lunch with the aunts at Panda Express! She's having a late night with McKenna and Autumn tonight, but we're saving the REAL fun for when family comes for her Baptism over Labor Day weekend! Happy Birthday Haleigh! We love you!

LAKE DAY!

Today we went out to Sand Hallow resevoir with our neighbors Lisa, Austin, and Autumn. It was SO fun. I haven't had that much fun on the lake since Daniel and I used to go in Wyoming. WE NEED A BOAT! The kids had a blast on the tube and Austin, Autumn, and Michael (and me and Lisa) knee boarded too! Next time we're gonna teach the kids to ski. Thanks for inviting us!

Chocolate Kisses

It was really quite this afternoon and I started wondering what Mya might be doing... this is where I found her. She had found a whisk full of Hershey kisses from my last enrichment meeting. You can hear someone knock at the door and she gets up to go find out who it is at the end of the video. Too funny. Could have been WAY worse of a mess! :)

Rapelling with Michael

Daniel is taking scouts on a slot canyon hike this weekend and they had a couple who needed some practice rapelling, so Michael and I tagged along so he could learn how and I hope to take him on a hike before the end of the season.

Everyone knows how much we LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS! And this weekend we got to celebrate the marriage of their 3rd of 6 children. Tara and Travis were married for time and ALL ETERNITY on Friday aftertoon and we were invited to the sealing ceremony. It was beautiful, not only for what was said and what was happening... but for the the glow on everyones faces from the HEAT! :) The room was overflowing! Lucky Daniel got to stand right in front of a lamp. :) We were even invited to the FAMILY dinner afterwards! We felt VERY SPECIAL! I've only teared up 3 times since they got engaged. ;) Anyway... here they are coming out and "showing off" for all the people waiting for them outside the Temple.

This is their family. And cutting their cake. Nice cake. Their ENTIRE extended family is very musical and so her uncle's band (our old Bishop) played all night long. It was AMAZING! Tara's Cake

I've been making my neighbor Tara's wedding cake this week (in between trips to the airport in Vegas and many other things) so this is me working on it and the final product. I was pleased.
